Meet Shevalle…
Shevalle T. Kimber is an ordained minister, a credentialed leader, and above all, a God-lover—deeply rooted in spirituality and committed to the wellness of the human spirit.
But before the titles… There was a story.
She was young once—unwed, uncertain, learning life not from comfort, but from the weight of real responsibility. She raised children while still growing herself. She endured heartbreak that did not come quietly, but shook her foundation. And still… she rose, not without scars, but with strength.
She faced a cancer diagnosis that tried to introduce fear as her language—but she chose faith instead. She journeyed through seasons of change where body and spirit wrestled for understanding. Even the gray in her hair became a crown of survival—a testimony woven over time.
Shevalle is a woman who understands that grace is not fragile—it is fierce.
Rooted in the tradition of the Black Church, she has served for over two decades in various roles, including Trustee, Choir Member, Ministry President, Co-Pastor, and Author. These experiences have shaped her, but they do not limit her. Her theology is grounded in care for the soul, for justice, and for the lived realities of people navigating faith in a complex world. She approaches the Gospel through a lens that seeks to liberate, heal, and restore. She is also a wife, walking alongside a confident and influential leader, yet her identity is wholly her own—formed through lived experience, quiet battles, and sacred endurance. She leads not only from platforms but also from a life in which pain has been transformed into purpose.
Today, Shevalle honors every version of herself that brought her here—while continuing to grow, evolve, and walk boldly in who God is calling her to be.
